I sure did miss the characters at the House of Night school while I waited for the latest installment from the Cast's. I waited with much anticipation. What will Stevie Ray do? How will Dallas use his new found gift? Will Kalona by bound to the evil Neferet forever? And what about Zoey? How can she be back in the real world without constantly being brought down by her grief and battles that loom for her behind every corner? And lets not forget Stark and Rephaim. I am enthralled by the Cast's turn of events for these two characters and how we can absolutely despise these boys in previous books but now root for them now. Well after waiting and waiting for my pre-order it came and I was scared to open it, because I knew once I started reading I'd devour it and yes some of my questions would be answered but I'd also have more and I'd have to wait months for the next.
Well I did indeed devour it..... And though I couldn't put it down, I still feel that it didn't fulfill my needs. To me this is a double sided sword because of course I have to read the next, and though I like where the story is going ( I think) I'm still felt empty inside. I know this part of the story needed to be written for us to understand the future for Zoey, Stevie Ray, and the others, but I guess in a nut shell I wish they gave me a little more in this particular book.
