Book review for Matched By Ally Condie

I have nothing but raves about this book. I loved it. Right on page one you are curious, so you turn to page two, three and before you know it your half way through and realize you haven't eaten. ; ) Yes, its that good. This story is set in a futuristic time where everything is chosen for you. Everyone wheres the same plain clothes. rides the same train same time each day and even your free time is prearranged for you. And much to my surprise the youth look forward to their Matching ceremony where they find out who their ideal mate is. And who they will have children with!
This story intrigued me on so many levels. I'm personally big on free will, I know, I know scary subject on many levels. I'm sure this is the most argued subject of all time. But what if our free will was taken from us. Even those who have argued against it whether the realize it or not are using their free will w/ in the argument. What if you lived in a society where stating your opinion in anyway can get you in your family in trouble?  And if this type of society is all you ever known what happens when you start questioning your whole existence. This is a very poignant story where the two classics (The Giver by Lois Lowery and Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet) meet and have been beautifully melded together in a story for us to enjoy.
