Today is Anew
Tomorrow remains unseen
Live in each moment
Skyline is dull gray
the sun hides behind the clouds
I still see beauty
Love is powerful
Love creates, destroys, and stays
Love is my reason
I smell the fire blaze
Its fierce as well as calming
The flames dance and smile.
The Snowflake descends
It waits for its family and friends
Then join hands and bonds.
I know these aren't the best haiku ever but when I'm trying to get in touch with my creative side, to find the words to express myself this is what I do. Usually quietly in my head but heck since I'm using my blog as my inspirational cork-board, why not right?!? It's amazing how self-critical I am about what and how I write, type, and represent myself on this silly thing. This is about me not anyone else. This is for me to find myself again. This is where I don't have to be a wife, mother, daughter, or sister. Where I am just me.
So ya next time you see someone staring off in deep thought maybe just maybe they are writing a haiku. "Bless you."
